Wardrobe Crises and an Emo JP

This morning started with a total wardrobe crises. See... i've lost about 12 pounds. Not enough for most people to notice, but I see it. So now, most of my shirts are either just slightly too big, or just slightly too small. I tried on about 5 shirts this morning, trying to find something that looked decent, before just giving up. All I could think was "who am I trying to look good for? it's not like there are tons of boys just pounding on my door asking me out on dates and stuff."

And so started my grumpiness.

I stopped by Kids R Us on the off chance they might have gotten in a shipment of Wii's... but no joy there, either.

It's gray, rainy, and.. oh yeah. it's Valentine's Day. *sigh*

So in an attempt to pull myself out of the grumpy doldrums, I'm going to send positive wishes out to all my friends and acquaintances.

To all you lucky guys that are dating, have boyfriends, lovers, partners, or spouses : enjoy today, and each other. Do something special and unexpected, just to affirm again how you feel for each other.

And to the rest of us single guys : try to keep a positive attitude, and know that somewhere, someday, you'll have a cuddlebunny to share the day with, also.

Ok, I fell a little better. However, I think i'll avoid shopping for new shirts until all the mylar heart balloons and shit are gone from the stores.

Just remember this, apart from this one day and maybe their birthdays, most people in relationships are totally miserable and wondering why it's not like it was "when we first met"... so they can all suck it!

Hehehe... ok, I'm not that bitter... but yeah, don't worry about the single life. It's The Suck on days like today but a lot of times it's not so bad at all...

No, you're right. Sometimes, it's not bad being single. I can go to bed when I want. If I wanna spend the day playing video games instead of shopping for new towels, then I can.

And I do have an amazing group of friends that are fun to hang out with. I wouldn't give that up for anything.

But still, there's something to be said for having a man to cuddle up with.

Thank you. I already have, and will probably do even more before the day is over. It's very easy to lose sight of what you have when it's in front of you every day.

I didn't even think about there, because it's so close to an "urban center", i figured it would always be sold out.

I've checked the Mission Valley Best Buy, and the Target, Walmart, Circuit City, Toys R Us, and EB Games near me, and none of them have Wii's, nor know when they'll get more."We'll get them in when we get them in. We don't know when, they just show up". *sigh*

I am on a mission, now! I *will* have my Wii, dammit! Even tho it's nice to play with a friend's Wii, I want to play with my own Wii, too!
